In 2018, Ars Medica was selected to join the Social Innovation Lab at Johns Hopkins. The Social Innovation Lab supports innovative nonprofits and disruptive technologies to create change and opportunity in Baltimore and beyond. The organization provides members of its cohorts funding, mentorship, and workshops to develop into successful ventures.

That year, Ars Medica was selected over 100 applications for 10 cohort slots. Our founders and directors worked with the Social Innovation Lab to develop an organization that promotes dialogue and collaboration across different fields to enhance the quality of medical education.
