Ars Medica receives 20k in seed funding after winning the Johns Hopkins Ten by Twenty Challenge

Ars Medica was awarded $20k in seed funding through the 2018 Ten by Twenty Challenge: Ideas Bridging Divides. The Ten by Twenty Challenge, which was released in 2013, seeks ideas for programs that will spark dialogue across difference to shape the future of Johns Hopkins University.

Every year, the presidents office at Johns Hopkins University partners with Idea Lab to host the Ten by Twenty Challenge, a crowdsourcing competition which funds non-profit initiatives that help achieve the ten priorities set by Hopkins through the year 2020. 

The 2018 Ten by Twenty Challenge seeks ideas for programs and activities that will spark dialogue across difference; 16 ideas were submitted and over 3,000 votes were cast for the challenge. Ars Medica, was one of the two winning teams.
